i love photography... plain and simple. it gives me such a thrill to capture the moments that can go by without being noticed. life gets busy, and we forget to pull the camera out to catch our children doing the simplest things... playing a game, twirling, laughing and telling jokes, and the wonder in their eyes when they see a bug in the grass. if i had to choose my favorite photographs of my children, it would be the ones of them just being them. my daughter sitting and coloring, and my son in the background throwing his arms up and yelling, "yeah!!!!!" over some small triumph.

that being said, i guess you could call my style casual and laid back. i like to capture the moments as they come... rarely posed, rarely pre-conceived. i may tell you to look my way from time to time, but when you look back on your photographs, i want the memories of that day to come flooding back. i want you to fondly remember the familiar expression of your toddler, the scabs and scratches that your little boys used to never be without, the favorite dress-up clothes of your daughter, those favorite jeans you used to wear, and the way you looked at the ones you love when you didn't even know i was pointing the camera your way.
